Election day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and it’s more important than ever to remember that your vote matters. Amarillo ISD has listed some important links here in order to get you the information you need to be informed, make a plan to vote, and cast your ballot. 
 

Important Dates to Remember

• Last Day to Register to Vote: Monday, October 7, 2024

• Early Voting Starts October 21, 2024 

• Last Day for Early Voting by Personal Appearance: Friday, November 1, 2024

• Next Uniform Election Dates: Saturday, May 3, 2025 and Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Voter’s Checklist
Remember the following as you make your way to the polls: 

• Verify that you’re registered to vote here (Opens in new window). 

• Verify your polling place.

• Check to see what ID is needed for voting. You can check the requirements for Texas here (Opens in new window).

• It is illegal for anyone to stop you from voting, so call the Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-687-8683 to report anyone that tries to stop you from your right to vote.
