CHIPS and Medicaid Insurance
If a child is on Medicaid or CHIPS insurance, they can access dental services by calling the number on the back of the card to see which dentists they are eligible to see. Both Medicaid and CHIPS have limits per year.
Emergency Dental Needs
Contact the school nurse for referral to dentists in Amarillo. This is only when the child is in pain or if it is an emergency.
