GED Program

The High School Equivalency Diploma allows students who were not able to complete high school a means to complete an educational certificate. This academic certificate will open opportunities for community colleges, advanced job placement, and technical/vocational training. Content areas covered by the testing series include reading/writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Students who meet academic readiness levels are encouraged to enroll online for testing at our center located at North Heights Alternative School, 607 N. Hughes. Those students requiring remediation may receive help at their home campus or at Amarillo College.
